Centre for Voluntary Service in Three Rivers - Volunteer Centre in Three Rivers

 

 

The Volunteer Centre in Three Rivers offers services to all - including members of the CVS, schools, public sector organisations, companies looking for employee volunteering, as well as the charitable and community sectors.

 

 - We can help groups that involve volunteers in a number of ways, including:

  • advertising voluntary opportunities
  • recruiting volunteers
  • providing information, guidance and training in volunteer management

A Volunteer Manager's Forum was launched in March 2009 -

- We look for volunteers and promote volunteering in a variety of ways, including:

  • through the Internet - in particular the Do-It website
  • posters and flyers
  • displays, exhibitions and presentations
  • libraries
  • newspaper and magazine articles

 

We found 15 volunteers to help set up

a charity sale at short notice.
