May 23 2008	Volunteer Retention and Recognition Many organisations have no problem attracting volunteers but a common lament is the rate of turnover of those volunteers. Just when you've got them trained they leave. This course was aimed at those with a responsibility for managing volunteers and attracted a range of organisations from large to small - all with similar issues.

Tutors Sue Taylor and Daniella Izera provided a month long course which covered subjects such planning, pests and diseases and soil care.
Nov 10 2005	Evergreen Eileen Hall is recognised for her dedication Eileen Hall of Abbots Langley was surprised by her fellow club members at Abbots Langley Evergreens and Three Rivers Volunteer Centre with a presentation held in her honour. Chairman of Three Rivers District Council Councillor Harry Davies presented Eileen with a certificate on behalf of the club she founded and the Volunteer Centre.
