Do you have a project which works with children and young people who have limited opportunities or access to services? Or would you like to start one?
There is money available from the Local Network Fund which we want to give to you!
All projects must be completed by January 2008, so this may be of particular interest to your group if you are looking to buy equipment, complete short term training courses or run Christmas holiday activities.

Giving grants of up to £7,000, The Local Network Fund was set up by the Department for Education and Skills to enable local voluntary groups to develop life improving projects for young people helping them be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, overcome income barriers, and make a positive contribution in society.
Hertfordshire Community Foundation administers it in this county. Since 2003, over 300 projects in Hertfordshire have been awarded a total of over £1.7m, benefiting an estimated 11,000 children and young people.
