Keen and amateur gardeners braved a cold November night to quiz an expert panel of two tutors from the Three Rivers Community Gardening Project. Questions on killer ladybirds, drooping poinsettias and north facing walls were among those dealt with by Sue Taylor, gardening course tutor and Denise Gentry, garden designer.
A quiz on seeds also kept the audience entertained at the WRVS Hall in Bury Lane, Rickmansworth.
The evening was held following the success of a similar event last year.
