23 Oct 2006 - Training Events in Three Rivers and Watford
The Centre for Voluntary Service in Three Rivers and Watford Council for Voluntary Service have joined forces to present a comprehensive training programme to their members.
Details are being finalised but many training days are already available for bookings - see Diary Dates for more information.
Bob Jones, Chief Executive of Watford CVS and Mary Green, Executive Director of the CVS in Three Rivers said: "We are delighted to be working together to co-ordinate a wide range of training opportunities for the voluntary and community sector in Watford and Three Rivers.
These courses are for people working in voluntary and community organisations, volunteers, management committee members and paid staff.
We are fortunate that thanks to the support of our funders and partners - Investing in Communities, Awards for All, Hertfordshire County Council Money Advice Unit - we are able to offer the training courses at a low cost or free."

Kicking off with a Publicity and Press Release workshop on November 1 in Basing House, the training programme will continue through into spring 2007.

To check availability of places and for more details please email training@watfordcvs.net or telephone Vanessa Levy 01923 254400. Initially, we will only accept two bookings per organisation, per course.
CHARGES
Charges are as shown by each course. An administration charge of £20.00 will be made to the organisation / individual in the event of a cancellation made within 5 working days of a course, whatever the reason.
