8 Dec 2005 - Christmas Roadshow and Voluntary Sector Forum

This month's Voluntary Sector Forum was a relaxing chance to catch up on news and meet representatives of a range of different organisations.

This has been a busy year for the CVS and the Volunteer Centre and we took the opportunity to give a flavour of the range of work done -from a series of awareness raising roadshows to the launch of the Community Gardening Project - and of course a chance to explore our new website.

We were particularly happy to catch up with volunteers who had found interesting opportunites through the Volunteer Centre. Connections are made and friendships can form from the simplest of beginnings.

We wish all Three Rivers volunteers and organisations a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
