This course was aimed at those who have recently taken on the role of trustee, or are about to become a trustee.

The session took an overall look at the roles and responsibilities of trustees, aiming to dispel myth and provide solid guidelines and reassurance. 

"There was so much to cover in the two hours but we did it and received some very positive feedback," said Mary Green, executive director of Three Rivers CVS.

One delegate remarked: "This highlights how little our board knows of its responsibilities as trustees."
