9 Feb 2008 - Hertfordshire Charity Trustee Conference

The Hertfordshire Infrastructure Consortium and the Herts CVS Group hosted a Charity Trustee Conference with an expert panel of speakers for all trustees in the county.

This was an excellent opportunity to exchange news, knowledge and expertise.

"It was a very successful day," said Mary Green, Executive Director of Three Rivers CVS.

"We had an excellent attendance of trustees from around the county and the feedback has been very encouraging."

Contributors included the Charity Commission, the Governance Hub, Charity Trustee Networks, the Suffolk Association of Voluntary Organisations. The event was jointly funded by Hertfordshire County Council and Capacitybuilders.

Mary added: "Three Rivers CVS will be setting up a Trustees Network this year so that relevant information and news can reach the right people even sooner than it does now."
