This FREE course is for managers and trustees from Hertfordshire Voluntary and Community Sector organisations that work with children and young people - this could be organisations that work wholly with this group such as pre-schools, scouts, youth clubs etc or organisations that work partially with this group such as community centres, women's centres, faith groups etc.

 

This training workshop seeks to provide an explanation to the complexities of employment law, outline employer obligations and help organisations deal effectively with the growing challenges presented by the employment of staff

 

In particular the course will cover:

    * managing grievances and dispute resolution

    * contracts of employment

    * managing discipline

    * staff appraisals and managing capability

    * absenteeism and best employment practice

 

Times:  10am - 4pm

In the event of a cancellation made within 5 working days of a course or non-attendance on the day, whatever the reason, your payment is non-refundable.  In addition, an administration charge of £25.00 will be made to the organisation / individual. This applies to FREE and charged courses.

 

 

Your confirmation of booking and all details relating to the training will be contained in the course information, which will be sent to you 10 days before the course date. 

 

We reserve the right to modify the programme. We reserve the right to cancel a course that has fewer than 10 delegates. You will not be charged for a cancelled course and any payment will be refunded.
